The visit of Lipu Tian --Commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of China to East Linden

 

Mr. Lipu Tian, the commissioner of the State Intellectual Property Office of People's Republic of China, made a special trip to visit East Linden on Aug.22, 2005. Yanhuai Liu, The CEO of East Linden, and other relative technical specialists welcome him and exchanged their ideas and visions to the future with him.

After hearing Mrs Liu's report on East Linden's experiences of acquiring international advanced techniques, accelerating the development of our country's Intellectual Property services and the company's current progress, Mr. Lipu Tian appraised the company's achievement and expressed his support for the futher development of East Linden.  

The technical specialists of East Linden made presentations to Mr. Tian regarding the current products of East Linden, research projects for several national programs taken by East Linden including Key Technologies R&D Program and National High-tech R&D Program (863 Program). They also presented the "East Linden Doors--Patent search/Strategic analysis Platform", which was developed by joint cooperation of East Linden and M.CAM company from U.S.

Mr, Lipu Tian gave high remarks on what East Linden had done in the past and showed his delightfulness when he saw that East Linden after he had learned from various Strategic Analysis Reports the excellent customer services for various industry and institution. Mr. Tian encouraged East Linden to continue engaging international communication and cooperation, absorbing foreign advanced technologies and developing more professional products and patent information services. He said East Linden should take its responsibility to promote our country's development of intellectual property strategy.

During the three-hour visit, Mr. Lipu Tian disscussed enthusiastically with the employees of East Linden on the topics of Patent Information services. He wished East Linden grow faster and become a powerful force in China's development of intellectual property services.
